From offices in Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City, a team of over 350 professionals serves clients across Canada in various areas of total rewards: compensation, group benefits, pension, savings, investment consulting, pension plan administration, health, performance and communication.

In 2023, while retaining its independence, Normandin Beaudry expanded its reach by becoming an equal shareholder of MBWL International, an existing joint venture between Milliman, Barnett Waddingham and Lurse, enabling the firm to continue to provide excellent service to its clients as they expand internationally.

We are looking for a proactive Senior Principal with considerable experience in broad based compensation consulting and a developed business network to join our growing team in our Toronto office. Your mission (non-exhaustive list):

Play a leading role in the strong growth of our compensation practice in Toronto and the rest of Canada
Influence the strategic direction of the practice in terms of client management and business development
Propose innovative business solutions, ensuring their profitability and alignment with the objectives of the firm and its clients
Analyze data and adjust compensation strategies accordingly to facilitate decision-making
Contribute to developing and motivating a diverse team, encouraging team members to play an active role in achieving objectives and to adhere to the firm’s values, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Ensure excellent representation of Normandin Beaudry to our clients and defend our interests with judgment and integrity

Qualifications and skills:

Multiple years of experience in a broad based compensation consulting role
Strong business acumen, with an aptitude for networking and developing strategic partnerships
Proven expertise in developing compensation strategies and managing high-level client relationships
Ability to inspire and lead a team in the pursuit of excellence, while fostering a work environment that is conducive to innovation and performance
Demonstrates decisive and strategic decision-making and the ability to navigate complex situations
Share Normandin Beaudry’s values: excellence, respect, initiative, collegiality
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration (finance and economics) or any other relevant degree
At least 20 years of hands-on experience in a compensation practice
A professional designation, such as from the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario (CHRP) or other relevant designation
